Our mission is to help businesses strengthen their security posture through offensive security testing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability research, and security analysis, working closely with experienced security professionals.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Security Analyst / Penetration Testing Intern with a technical mindset and an eagerness to develop hands-on cybersecurity skills. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about ethical hacking, vulnerability research, and offensive security testing. You’ll assist in conducting security assessments, analyzing vulnerabilities, and writing reports, while also expanding your technical expertise through real-world experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in penetration testing engagements for web applications, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Develop custom scripts and automation to enhance security testing capabilities.
  • Analyze security findings and document technical reports with remediation recommendations.
  • Work with databases to query and analyze vulnerability data.
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct reconnaissance, exploitation testing, and post-exploitation analysis.
  • Participate in security research projects to identify emerging threats and attack vectors.

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Python (4/5): Strong understanding, can write and debug scripts for automation and exploitation.
  • Flask (3/5): Familiarity with building basic security-related tools or APIs.
  • HTML & CSS (3/5): Understanding of web technologies and common web vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
  • PostgreSQL (2/5): Basic knowledge of querying and analyzing vulnerability-related data.
  • JavaScript (2/5): Some experience with raw JavaScript for web security testing (e.g., DOM-based XSS).

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Skills):

  • Server Administration (3/5): Familiarity with configuring, securing, and testing Linux-based systems.
  • Code Architecture (3/5): Ability to analyze application logic for security flaws and exploitation potential.
  • Familiarity with Security Tools: Experience with tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, or Wireshark.
  • Understanding of Common Exploits: Basic knowledge of SQL Injection, privilege escalation, and remote code execution.
