As we continue to grow, financial planning, cost optimization, and operational efficiency remain critical. We are seeking a Finance Intern to support our financial operations and gain hands-on experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis within a dynamic cybersecurity consulting firm.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Intern, you will report directly to Jerry Sanchez, Managing Partner, and contribute to key financial initiatives that drive sustainable growth. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assist in analyzing financial data, tracking revenue and expenses, and preparing monthly financial reports.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development of the 2025 budget, aligning projections with company growth objectives.

Expense Optimization: Identify areas where operational costs can be streamlined while maintaining service quality.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in tracking client invoices, vendor payments, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor company cash flow, helping to maintain financial reserves for business continuity.

Financial Tools & Automation: Work with tools like QuickBooks, Asana, and HubSpot to optimize financial workflows.

Compliance & Tax Preparation: Support documentation for tax filings and financial audits.

Process Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements for financial efficiency and reporting.

Who You Are

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and an interest in learning financial software.

Ability to handle confidential financial data with professionalism and discretion.

Proactive and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.

Interest in technology and cybersecurity (preferred but not required).

Internship Logistics

Remote Position: You’ll work from anywhere in the U.S. with regular virtual check-ins.

Onboarding: Background check required. You’ll receive a remote desktop for secure work.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): Interns use their personal laptops.
